Marriage Conference
“Discovering your love language.”
Presented by Dr. Richard Henegar, MFT, Ph.D., Psychology
Includes lunch, drinks, AND child care*
Gary Chapman in his acclaimed book, The 5 Love Languages, addresses how individual preferences in giving and receiving love affect relationships. On the Focus on the Family website, Chapman states, “My conclusion after many years of marriage counseling is that there are five emotional love languages – five ways that people speak and understand emotional love.” Chapman’s understanding of human relationships and their unique needs help individuals bridge the gap between the self and an intimate relationship.
The La Mesa Church of Christ offers an opportunity to explore Chapman’s belief on September 15, 2018, from 10:00 AM with adjournment at 2:00 PM with lunch at noon. The cost of the event is $10.00 and that includes lunch and childcare. The book, The 5 Love Languages, can also be purchased at cost during the event. You are invited to be the guests of Ellen Kramer Banks, M.D., Graham Clifford, Senior Minister, and Richard J. Henegar, Ph.D., as presenters.
*Event cost is $10 per household. Pay via check or cash on site at the event.
